Some jobs have perks.
Tim's job doesn't.
However, his genial personality brought us all one today. Someone has been given a free pass to a member's only club in Roppongi Hills and has invited us all to join them.
Roppongi Hills is a massive complex of complex navigation. It contains shops, apartments, offices, cinemas, museums and restaurants galore all set in different areas and buildings. The restaurant we're going to today is somewhere near the very top of the main tower, called the Mori Tower, after the famous architect.
Getting to the 50-whatever floor was exciting in itself. The exclusive lift had lights in the floor and ceiling that changed colour as we rose higher and higher.
The food was incredible and the views outstanding. I'd love to become used to this sort of life.
We were very lucky to have experienced this.
