We have fascinating insect life here. But I won't mention the cockroaches that live in the house...
Just a photo prompted post – I'll probably find some more insect photos in due course.
This is what greeted me this morning hanging on to the screen door. It's a gorgeous fresh green stick insect measuring about 5" long.
How wonderful to live in a place where something I used to keep as an exotic pet lives wild.
I caught it and popped it into a small tank we have lying around for this purpose so Rhiannon could study it for a day or two.
Then we let it go.
